I thoroughly enjoyed your book. Your writing flows so smoothly throughout. The characters are warm and fun to spend time with. There are some wonderful interactions between them, and some cool plot twists. My ten-year-old granddaughter is now reading it, and enjoying it too.

I read the book with my six-year-old son. He's at an age where he goes back and forth between picture books and chapter books. This book really captured his attention because the chapters were short and bite sized and he would ask me to read several in one sitting. One of the strengths of this book is that the writing is understandable and engaging for kids without being dumbed down, which so many kids' books fall into the trap of. Ellen struck the right balance with this and I even found myself chuckling at the jokes as an adult reader. This is truly a magical journey for all ages. I also loved that it teaches empathy for animals in a really fun and round about way.
