Hi, i’m ellen!
I love stories. I have a big imagination, and I like to be creative. I write books for kids, including picture books, chapter books, and middle-grade fiction, as well as articles and stories for grown-ups, too. I even went to film school at the University of Southern California.
The thing I love the most is spending time with my dog. I especially loved my dog Scout because he was one of a kind. He had amazing puppy energy throughout his life. I wrote A Dog and His Boy: The Switch as a tribute to him. I hope you’ll read along and join Scout in adventure, fun, and friendship. Oh, and cookies —definitely cookies.
